Announcement Reported dead accounts just got new value !

I have the pleasure to announce new feature that we have decided to add to "reported dead" accounts feature.

Introduction:
We got many questions and suggestions regarding the issue with the taken accounts which are actually dead. Even we have been doing our best to keep the board clean of dead accounts it was impossible to make it clean 100%. Sometimes happened that members were complaining of wasted 1 daily reply limit for taking an already dead account. Since it is impossible to implement technical solution that will automatically restore your daily limit if you take dead account we have used a bit different approach. It won't restore your 1 reply daily limit but it will help you a bit toward achieving higher membership level. By implementing this additional feature you will have significantly easier way of achieving higher membership level which will furthermore enable you to take 2 account per day, like the Senior member rank. We are aware that this is not a breakthrough solution but for sure your reports from now on worth more. Therefore,

Each time you report an dead account you will be given 1 reputation point. As said above, this will significantly help you to achieve next membership rank.

Notice:
Please, keep in mind that we are manually checking each report so be sure that the reported account is dead. Reporting working accounts as dead just to get reputation will lead you to a 50% warning and/or even a permanent ban so don't try to abuse this feature.

Side note:
* Unfortunately we are not able to travel back in time to reward all of you that have been reporting accounts until today. However, starting today, our board will be more friendlier to all our members.

Please don't confuse this with the rank system, rank system remains the same but by giving you reps for reporting a dead account each time, we are trying to help you to get a better rank which still has requirements and which can only be fulfilled by the user. So, it depends on you, what do you want to archieve on CS.
