General Discussion Pandemic Effect on Piracy?

I was thinking what effects this Pandemic will have on Piracy.

I know it's going to make more People Pirate but will Governments/Corporations Chase Pirates Harder or while this Happening they might turn there heads from it for the Time Being?

Not much difference, they only usually go after the ones who are making money from it anyway, they can't arrest all the 100 thousands (got to be millions now that i think about it) who download and stream.

Here in the UK, i have been downloading since 2000, never had even a letter, there is no doubt my internet provider knows because i do it everyday and very rarely use a VPN. They are after money makers and people who watch and sell child porn.

Well since cinemas are closed due to the pandemic, digital version of movies are released earlier. This means higher quality rips from the pirates.
