Hey all, next month I'm heading down to San Diego with my lady for a few days.
Fun Fact: Discovered by the Germans in 1904, it is widely accepted and believed that San Diego translates to "A Whales Vagina." Others claim it translates to "Saint Diego," but we will probably never know for sure.
Curious if anyone has any recommendations for cool things to do.
I have been there before and I am aware of all of the "touristy" things like the gas-lamp district, zoo, aquarium, etc.
I am more interested in "hidden gems" so to speak.
Can you recommend anything that I wouldn't necessarily find on a basic google search?
A really good under the radar restaurant? An off the path park/trail? Any unique experience that I need to try?
Thanks!
