I think most the crackers would be using Linux os while cracking.

Can crackers recommend a safe and secure linux distros that is best for cracking ?

Also please post the do and dont's for safe and secure practice that needs to be followed by a newbie cracker.

I don't think os makes a much difference in cracking because there are plenty of tools ready made for windows too. But os can play a major role in hacking. Like network penetration, creating back doors and stuff like that. I think Kali Linus is the beset for these kinda work.
