Robert De Niro and Pacino at their best for me, at the very least you will enjoy it, i'm shocked anybody could watch the first and not want to watch the 2nd. It's one of the best films of all time of any genre. It's a sequel and a prequel of the first, 2 different story lines, De Niero takes over from Marlon brando in the prequel parts.
GO WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For science fiction, I would go with anything with Tom Cruise in it, his movie in scifi to be fun with a decent plot. One of his that I think was underrated is "Edge of Tomorrow".

I just discovered the Amazon prime production "The Man In The High Castle". If you like dystopian situations I highly recommend it: it's an underrated series, based on an excellent Philip K. Dick book!

I don't watch english movies often,the ones that were good are Hannibal film series (The last 2 films weren't great).For action John wick was great.If you like period films try hitchcock and kurosawa movies,they are great with respect to their time period films.
The shawshank redemption was a slow but surely good film. Follow the Rules and Enjoy Crackingsoul.
