[Suggestion] Thread Count Reset

Good Afternoon CS,

I often find myself checking out the general member porn account section for unique sites that are hard to come by. So, I try my luck and post a reply to a thread that seems to good to be true. I assume when a thread is not locked, that the account within the hidden quote is still working. However, as we all know this is not the case, we come across a dead account, and do the right thing, and report that sucker to a moderator. However, then my mood is killed because I'm out of my only thread post for the day, and still wasn't able to log into a website.

So I was thinking, would it be possible to have a members thread count be reset, so they can post one more time, if the aforementioned occurs? Furthermore, we could set guidelines indicating that this would only occur after a moderator has deemed the dead account report as valid. We could also implement that this occurrence would only be possible when members reach at least rank "Junior," or something similar?

What are your thoughts on this?

Regards,
JJ

I think @JJ has a pointed out a very common problem and also a very good solution to it. I would also like to see this or something similar to this implemented. In this way, the person who reports the dead account is rewarded and doesn't have to pay the price for having bad luck.

I think it may give us the opportunity to clean out sections like that as well.

It is a nice idea but I would explain why its difficult to implement.
In this forum the dead accounts are checked only by our super moderator and even if admin joins, they can't be online every time to make such changes. So technically its like waiting a day for different timezone people.Even if we join, the ability to reset thread limits are only to admin,I presume.
That's why we implemented reputation to reporting people to help you guys climb up the rank.
So the only way to overcome the hassle is to become a cs addict, contributor which has 3 and 5 post limit and no maximum limit or a gold member.

Thanks @ 454subash for the clarification.

I will add the another part, kindly check the following links:

We created everything in the past but it didn't work for a long time and we had to disable it. As mentioned by @ 454subash we are still adding + reps to the members who report the dead accounts.

But as of your usergroup, you are allowed to take only 1 account/day. I too feel sorry for the guys like you, who are really active on CS but can't take more than 1 account/day.

Feel free to blame the leechers, who pushed us to make these hard rules.

But let us concentrate on the current situation, we could try introducing some changes in the CS Rank system regarding the member group. I will discuss the situation with the staff and update you here with the overcome.

And i have read your message on SB, i am aware of the membeR group and it has been so created to distinguise between the three groups of the member usergroup, something related to the admin cp.

So, let me see what can we do.

Thanks for your post.

Please don't spam my inbox, if i'm not replying, i'm not online and i haven't read your pm. Thanks a lot for understanding.

@JJ

I'd also like to point out that most users that sign up to porn sites usually only sign up for a month to 3 months on average in my experience. This is the reality of most sites and of course there are exceptions for some users and certain sites and networks. Since this forum has quite a selection of sites in the Free Section, you need to keep in mind the passes posted most recently will have the highest change of success/working. Your chances of finding a working account goes down drastically checking threads in Free Section 3 months - 6 months ago.

Also, there are a lot of sites that are ( block ) happy and will temporary block an account for a period of time. Most people will automatically list these accounts as dead, but they technically fall into the blocked category. I tend to not post a lot of these sites because of their volatile behavior. It's not uncommon for sites like NaughtyAmerica and Scoreland for example to block an account for a set period, and then the account works at a later time or day.  You also have to consider that other crackers (here and other forums/boards) could also have cracked the same site with the same combo/account. I would say a lot of crackers have similar wordlists unless they have means or connections to private databases or methods for building wordlists that the majority of other crackers don't have. Hope this info is helpful for non crackers.

On a personal level, I'm not that crazy into porn, so I'm not butt hurt over the restrictions, and more simply using this thread to lay down some of my thoughts. I come from an administrator/management background and mindset, so I constantly am trying to figure out ways in which my actions can positively impact as many individuals as possible.

With that being said, I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughtful responses; I was not expecting this thread to get as much attention as it did. Thanks everyone for clarifying the logistics behind this implementation, the reasoning behind current restrictions, and why it would be challenging to implement this in the future.

Best,
JJ

I think implementing this will be really messy. I say one example. Let's say we have implemented this, so a member is taking an account which is working fine. But there can be plenty of situations the account will be banned while the guy is using the account. But he can hit for a other account saying the first is a dead account. This is just a one example and maintaining this system would be a mess. Of course member grade people will love to see this going.

I agree with what you said. Thanks for bringing your opinion to the table!

Ideally this would be great but as others have already stated it is easier said that done, complicated issue i would say. Every pass i post was working when i posted it, some last days, weeks, months, even years, comes down to a bit of luck, it is just part of this line of work, passes will die, some unfortunately quicker that others.
