I would say Winning Eleven - the one on PS One
As for the original question, neither at the moment I was a big big soccer/football game fan, but as the time was passing by, it all began to feel like nothing is changing. Or it is getting worse. But, in case I REALLY NEED to choose, I'd have to choose FIFA. The last good PES was WE, imho. And I haven't played FIFA since December 2014 I'm getting old and my reflexes aren't that great as they were in 1998-2002 Read the Rules, please.

PES in the early days was far superior but FIFA has been the go to in the past decade
