@ KuriusGeorgLoPez Thanks for the informations, i hope it is really like this.
The benefits of using mRNA technology are huge. Traditional vaccines took years to develop, but these can be developed in months.
This will also likely be the technology used going forward for vaccines. They were working on it for awhile, but covid gave a massive push.
Not only should everyone get the vaccine, but the new vaccines are even LESS dangerous than normal vaccines, which were already fine
They give you a protein associated with the virus to trigger your body to make antibodies to protect from the virus
Unlike traditional vaccines, mRNA vaccines don't even contain a tiny part of the virus. The work similarly though
mRNA vaccines are much faster to produce than normal vaccines, because you don't need the actual virus
The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are the first vaccines using this new technology ever (mRNA).
@ DA That's one of the reasons why a vaccine was made so quickly. I want to give more details, but there is too much to tell in the shoutbox.
@ DA SARS has a long research history preceding SARS CoV-2. The 2003 outbreak was already contained, so no further funding was needed at the time.
@ DA Of course! It's been proven to work in clinical trials. There are many scientific studies that backs the claim that it works.
